Unlike the existing nEar series, uniK focuses on fully authentic pristine sound reproduction, utilising higher quality components throughout. Using an 8" kevlar low frequency driver and a powerful newly designed ribbon tweeter with a perfectly plain radiating surface, the 130W driven active loudspeaker shows a pristine level of sound reproduction, making uniK 08 perfect for nearfield and even midfield monitoring in stereo and surround setups.
The monitors provide a very flat frequency response, a tight low end, and of course, uniquely precise mid and high ends. Again, like the 04 and 05 models, the special mechanical design of the front panel minimizes reflections – a difference you notice right away. You have to listen to them to believe!
